Larry Ward

Larry Ward was ordained by Thich Nhat Hanh as a Dharma Teacher in 2001, after 10 years of deep association. He has lived and worked globally in social development, executive consulting, coaching and teaching. He is a doctoral student in Buddhism at the University of The West.

Peggy Rowe

Peggy Rowe was also ordained in 2001 as a Dharma Teacher by Thich Nhat Hanh. She has a Doctorate in adult education and is a licensed counselor. She has worked in coaching, counseling, and teaching. Larry and Peggy have jointly written Love’s Garden, “A Guide to Mindful Relationships.”

Sister Ellie

Sister Ellie Finlay is a solitary nun in the Anglican tradition. An experienced spiritual director and retreat conductor, Sister Ellie’s background includes traditional convent life as well as training in theology, counseling and spirituality. She has studied with meditation teachers from several major religious traditions and now specializes in the theory and practice of meditative practice.

She lived in both Ireland and South Africa before coming to Oklahoma in 1996. While in South Africa, she studied the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism at a dharma center in Cape Town where she received intensive training in meditation and mind training. Her refuge lama is Ringu Tulku Rinpoche. Sister Ellie is executive director of St. John’s Center for Spiritual Formation, an interfaith meditation center, and lives in Tulsa.
